Het derde lied op ons album ‘hole and corner’, Travelling Mind heeft een typisch west-coast geluid verwant aan groepen als: ’the lovin’ spoonful’, psychedelica bands als Country joe and the Fish, the Byrds, Jefferson airplane, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin big brother and the holding company, Steppenwolf en uiteraard het zeer onderschatte California dream-team the Buffelo Springfield. In Nederland was er nauwelijks aandacht (nog steeds, behalve Mart Smeets) voor deze stroming omdat de hippies uiteraard de hele dag aan seks deden en drugs doorgaven aan elkaar (Don’t bogart that joint my friend, pass it over to me) verwijzend naar de mond-hoek sigaret van Casablanca acteur Humphrey Bogart waarmee enige noodzakelijke zelf-spot, het lijden der hippies werd verzacht én gerelativeerd.
