Petitie tegen de sloop van 100 woningen in Corona tijd en betaalbare woningen nu ze er nog zijn…Maastricht, wijk Blauwdorp 2020
Wij, actie-committee: ‘de Blauwe Sloper’ vragen om uitstel en opschuiving van plannen ‘De Blauwe Loper’ door corporatie Servatius en de gemeente Maastricht tot deze crisis binnen verantwoordde gezondheidsnormen en economische mogelijkheden voor de bewoners zijn veilig gesteld en terug gebracht.
Het actiecomité De Blauwe Sloper verzet zich fel tegen de de sloop van 100 woningen per 1 September (ruim 200 mensen merendeels coalitie Y studenten en X aantal ouderen, gepensioneerden, in de wijk Blauwdorp. Een wijk in Maastricht, die op straat komen te staan in een tijd met grote woningnood (315.000 tekort), schade door de lockdown en de aanverwante economische krimp, een nog onbeheersbare pandemie waarvan een tweede golf Corona, de seizoens-reflex, zich in het najaar zal melden.
De tijd dat een tweede golf zal toeslaan is juist de tijd dat wij bewoners, moeten verkassen.
Een grote groep studenten leeft hier onder de huidige bewoners, die nu van twee kanten worden gepakt.
De bestaande studie schulden plus de economie, die flinke klappen heeft opgelopen, zullen deze studenten geen baan vinden door de Corona crisis. Hebben niet de financiële mogelijkheden om een dure (duurdere) woning te vinden waarmee het beleid nog steeds doorgaat en vrolijke horizonnen schets.
ECB-president Christine Lagarde heeft Europese regeringsleiders vrijdag verteld dat hun economieën een “dramatische krimp” hebben ingezet door de corona-crisis.
De wachttijd is ruim 10 jaar voor een nieuwe woning (volgens het EIB, economisch instituut voor de bouw) ook al ben je ingeschreven voor een woning dan nog is het wachten, een onverantwoord en inhumaan beleid om mensen nu uit hun, nu nog betaalbare woningen, te ontruimen onder zeer kwetsbare omstandigheden.
Hiermee staan de ruim 200 bewoners met de rug tegen de muur en kunnen geen kant op. Woningnood komt door het laakbare beleid van regering, gemeentes en corporaties vol met plannen en beperkingen (stikstof) van regels dan wel snelle investeringsmaatschappijen, die uit waren / zijn op meer winst, subsidies en geen morele verantwoordelijkheid dragen voor de woningproblematiek. Door een onberekenbare pandemie, overmacht en frustratie vallen deze mensen een ongelijke last ten deel. Er zijn geen betaalbare woningen voorhanden….en geen medicijn tegen Covid 19.
De werkeloosheid loopt met de week op, en ook al kun je lachend een bezoekje brengen aan de premier, dit probleem komt nu keihard op ons bord…
‘Vooral de kwetsbaren beschermen’ heette het nog niet zo lang geleden door assertieve politici te berde gebracht, echter de lol is ervan af, nu er sprake is van een woningprobleem sinds bouwfraude in 2001 en sinds 2002 officieel een tekort van 315.000 woningen, nu pas pijnlijk zichtbaar wordt. Corporaties, gemeentes beloofden betaalbare woningen, er werden daadkrachtige plannen gemaakt maar niet uitgevoerd door de honger naar meer winst, onderliggende concurrentie en strijd om de subsidies, waar de corporaties verdeel en heers politiek toepassen door een wijk in stukken te snijden en / of te breken.
Nu, na bijna twintig jaar is er nog steeds een tekort van 315.000 woningen. Dat was al in 2002 en uit 2001 stamt de bouwfraude. Het aantal daklozen rond de 40.000 stijgt en er komen door de Corona crisis en door de oplopende werkeloosheid, financiële tegenslag en minder inkomsten staat dit probleem ook u te wachten. Zie het onder ogen het kan zomaar gebeuren.

Petition against the demolition of 100 homes in Corona time and affordable homes while they are still there…
We, action “De Blauwe Sloper” ask for postponement and postponement of plans “De Blauwe Loper” by housing association Servatius and township Maastricht until the crisis have been reduced within responsible health requirements and economic opportunities for the residents.
‘De Blauwe Sloper’ action committee strongly opposes the demolition of 100 homes by 1 September (more than 200 people, mostly coalition Y students, elderly and retired people) in the Blauwdorp district, a neighbourhood in Maastricht, will be put on the street in a time of great housing shortage and an unmanageable pandemic of which a second wave of Corona, the seasonal reflex, will report after 1 September.
The time when a second wave will strike, is precisely the time when we have to move.
A large group of students among the residents, are now being caught from different sides.
The existing study debt plus an economy, who has been hit hard by the Corona crisis, will not find a job because of this crisis, so do not have the financial opportunities to rent one of the expensive homes that the policy still continues and cheerful horizons sketch.
ECB President Christine Lagarde told European leaders on Friday that their economies have started a “dramatic contraction” due to the corona crisis. The waiting period is more than 10 years for a new home (according to the EIB, economic institute for construction) even if you are registered for a home, the policy is irresponsible and inhumane to evict people from their currently affordable homes under these very fragile circumstances.
This means that the more than 200 residents have their backs against the wall and cannot move in any direction. Housing shortage is due to the reprehensible policy of municipalities and corporations full of plans and restrictions (Nitrogen) rules and investment companies, who are looking for more profit, subsidies and do not bear moral responsibility for this housing problem. Due to an incalculable pandemic, force majeure and frustration, these people are faced with an uneven burden. There are no affordable homes available… .and no cure for Covid 19.
Unemployment is increasing by the week, and even though you can visit the prime minister with a smile, this problem is now on our plate …
It was said not so long ago by assertive politicians to protect the vulnerable, but the fun is over, now that there has been a housing problem since 2002. Corporations, municipalities promised affordable housing, now it seems the problem they create is ours. The desire for more profit, underlying competition and subsidies, did go on for almost twenty years, and became a huge problem. Will it be our problem no everyone who will get financial troubles the next ten years has to face and deal with this problem. There is a shortage of 315,000 homes, the number of homeless people is rising by around 40,000 and the Corona crisis and rising unemployment are likely to add thousands more.
