For the first time, researchers have found soot particles from air pollution caused by polluted exhaust gases in the placenta. Belgian scientists examined 28 placentas of women who had just given birth in the hospital of the city of Genk, close to Maastricht, and described their findings in Nature Communications.

Er liep een Berlijnse studente mee met het bord ‘ik demonstreer vanwege feiten’, nieuw in de geschiedenis van het vrije woord dat we onze stem verheffen omdat de grootste vervuilers geen Co2 belasting dan wel maatregelen treffen. Hebben de politici, aandeelhouders het niet in de gaten.. wereldwijd gaan miljoenen mensen de straat op…en dit is nog maar het begin.
